Hey Everyone,
Hope you all had a happy and safe holiday season!
I have been really busy lately, playing shows and working hard in the studio on a bunch of tracks for my new album. I will be adding special 'Sneak-Listens' on Myspace of different tracks each week so please have a listen, drop me a comment and let me know what you think.
I'm really excited for the B-RAD show at St. Clair College next week. Not only is the show great time, it also benefits an amazing cause. The B-Rad program, which educates kids about bullying, alcohol, relationships and drugs, has already helped over 2000 students. I feel so blessed to be a part of such an important program. Click here now to order tickets now for the St.Clair College & B-RAD show Friday Jan.11th at the Chrysler Theatre in Windsor
All in all I'm extremely happy with the way things are going and I think 2008 is going to be big!
Hope to see you at some upcoming shows.
I'll be in touch again soon!
Peace and love,
Jody

Amazing week of shows last week. After a packed sold out show at the Boom Boom Room in Windsor for Drive Magazine, Wes and I headed straight down to Nashville. A little rest at the hotel and we were off to play the Tin Roof II in the fantastic setting of Franklin, a suburb of Nashville.
We went down like gangbusters and the crowd really really responded to us. We followed up the next night at a private party at the great Marty Robin's old house in front of 300 people. Wes and I had been invited to play for around an hour and ended up playing three! Needless to say, we were mixing up great covers and originals, and had a blast meeting more and more people down there. Nashville has a serious concentrate of talent; I'm humbled every time I go down there to play and honored even more when they like what we're doing. We hope to get back down there soon.
Hope everyone is enjoying the last days of summer, and catch you at a show soon.
Peace,
Jody

It was a huge week last week, and I wanted to thank everyone for coming down to all the shows, tuning in, and watching! Last Saturday, Wes and I went down to WSCX where we joined our friend Pam Rossi to talk about Simple Life finally coming out for download and play a couple of songs. Everyone was really great there, and we hope to make it back soon. Then the week just flew by with over 7 shows, studio time to work on the new songs, and a little tv thrown in for good measure. It was great to go back on FOX’s Detroit morning show and there were a lot of people who came up to me during the shows on Friday to tell me they had checked it out. The link’s up on the website if you didn’t see it. I tell you it’s a lot of fun singing at 8 am, but we were happy with the way it came out. Then, I did five shows in three days, so Sunday was a much needed break.
Another crazy week ahead, so I will check in with you all soon and thanks again to everyone who came down and checked us out from Detroit to Leamington to Windsor and elsewhere. Your support means everything to me, and your belief in the music keeps me going.

Just wanted to pop in and share a couple of thoughts:
It was our fourth show at the Detroit Zoo last night, and it has become an absolute favorite of mine to play. Last night was one of the best. Playing our original music in front of young uninhibited ears, seeing them get up and dance around to the songs, makes me think about music the way we should think about music; not complicated, simple, no industry, just the music. By the end of the set, they were dancing on the stage, literally. It was great.
Hope everyone is enjoying their summer. Check in with you all soon.
Peace,
Jody

Hey Everybody,
Been hanging around the studio by myself lately doing a bit of recording. I have an incredible feeling that with the way things are going, the next album is going to be very strong. It's an amazing feeling trying a different approach and I am extremely happy with the results.
Really excited about Pelee Island this year. As everyone knows, this show is a blast being on a primitive island and this year CHYR will be doing their first ever live broadcast from the island for Friday night's show. So, if you can't make it out to the island, you can tune in, or stream it online.
Thanks to CHYR for helping make it happen.
Management has moved out to sunny California, so a lot of changes there and many new doors opening.
I hope everyone has a safe holiday week in Canada and stateside. I'll check back in with you all soon.
Peace,
Jody

Hey Everybody,
So it’s been an amazing 4 weeks here in California, it’s hard to believe it’s been a month since we came out here. All of the shows went really well and we really made progress working in the studio recording. New faces, new fans, and great reactions to what we’re doing have been keeping our energy level high. San Francisco was one of the most beautiful and romantic cities I’ve been to, and from what I told the most European of cities, besides Montreal, in North America. It was a little cold and rainy, but that only added to its charm. In San Francisco we took the time to write a song with a country flair that we’re very excited about. That makes two new songs since we’ve been out here. It was also a pleasure catching up with friends who came to see us.
We’re really excited about our signing with Live Tour Artists, an up and coming and very enthusiastic booking agency. This was a major goal that we had set prior to the tour and it’s come to fruition. Now, we have people who can book us across North America and around the world. This has been a life long dream.
We are en route to Phoenix right now, but before we leave the beautiful state of California, we would like to thank our very dear friends Kenny and Jerrie for taking total care of Wes and I the entire time we were out here. You are both absolutely beautiful people. Also, special thanks to Bull Marro Garcia for taking total care of Shakey and Charlie. You are a very generous man. We miss you all, so many great things going on. We can’t wait to share it all with you.
We’ll check in with you all again soon with updates from the road,
Peace,
Jody

Happy Valentine’s Day Everyone from warm & sunny California!
(Sorry to everyone else freezing. We’re definitely enjoying the warm weather here!)
I just wanted to check in and touch base with all of you since we’re now on the road for the next two months. I want to try to keep everyone updated while we’re on the road working hard! We’re not basking on some beach - far from it!
Here’s a run down of the past week which has been very constructive for us.
Feb 3
Wes and I got in and played a private party at the House of Blues in Anaheim at Downtown Disney. What a great venue that is! The party was great and about 100 people!
Feb 4
Took time out to enjoy a great Super Bowl party! Go Colts, but my loyalty is to the Vikings still! Maybe next year!!!
Feb 6
Wes and I played acoustically at The Mint in Los Angeles. This is a great venue and we love playing there.
We had very special friends come in from England to see us as well, which made it special for us.
Feb 10
The full band performed at the Shift_2 Nissan event at Santa Anita Race Park Mall. Great event if you haven’t come down to check it out. One day before the Nissan tour ends, I think Shakey & I will try to sneak into the cars and see who’s fastest in the test drives!
Feb 11
Full band show at the Cat Club. Very cool club on the famous Sunset Strip owned by Stray Cats’ Slim Jim Phantom. Great crowd that night and made new friends! Thanks Dave Brainard from Jessica’s Andrews band for dropping by to see us. See you next weekend man!
Feb 12
Wes and I did a live interview and acoustic performance for http://musicplustv.com/ on their “Indie Substance” show.
Hope you were able to catch it live.
Feb 13
Full band show at The Mint. We rocked the house and made more new friends! Hope to see you guys again soon!!!

Well last time I checked in we were just getting into the holiday season. It seems like the past three weeks have flown by and we’re already a week away from X-Mas! Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the season wherever you are. Wes and I just did a string of shows back in New Jersey with lots of new faces coming to the shows in Atlantic City, Long Branch and our base in Freehold. I also got a chance to get into the city to check out a show at the Mercury Lounge and have a night off!
Back in Canada, didn’t have much time off because we had to get ready for the big final full band show of 2006 at the VI in Leamington which was amazing. So good to see everyone out and we ended up at the coffee house afterwards, the ‘after party’ tradition. Everyone is really responding well to our new songs, which are becoming our new favorites, and it’s been incredible to do a string of over 10 shows with only our original material. It shows us really how long we have come in this great journey.
I am really looking forward to the Chrysler Theatre show on January 18th in Windsor, which will be a VERY big event. It’s going to be the full band with all of my material from the past, present and future. A portion of the money raised will be going to St. Clair College and the B-RAD anti-bullying project that I have been helping out with, so I hope everyone is getting their tickets! We’ve been working on it for months and I want to see all of you make it there!
Have a great holiday week, and thanks so much for your continued support of what is going on. If 2006 is any indication as to what is in store for 2007, we’ve got good things ahead of us!
Peace,
Jody |

Hey Everyone,
It was a long and busy summer that’s turned into a long and busy fall, and I have not stopped for a break in quite some time. All’s good. I’m feeling well, voice feels strong, and things are all moving in the right direction. Coming home, hearing and feeling the support from my community, really makes all the long hours on the road worth it. I’m looking forward to the local shows that are lined up for December, starting this Friday, December 1st for the Diamonds and Denim Charity Event at the Portuguese Club in my hometown, Leamington. My dear friend Kerry Krauss has been working her a** off putting it together with the folks at the South Essex Community Council, so come down and support it if you can! Some of you may recall Kerry was that sneaky fan who went behind my back and sent in Light of Day for the Bon Jovi contest!! A lot has happened since then!
2006 was an amazing year, so…even though I’m not too big on holidays, this is the season for giving thanks; being appreciative and grateful for all my friends, family, and the many other people who have come into my life and been a part of this adventure. If I could channel all of your energy towards the Vikings, I think they’d finally win the Superbowl!
Peace,
Jody

Hey Everybody,
Just got back from a long productive trip and wanted to fill you in. First off, thanks to everyone for continuing to support my music and to all of you who are coming out to the shows both near and far. You all mean the world to me and we have so many great things on the burner that it’s an exciting moment in my career. We just finished the first leg of the Shift_2Nissan Tour that hit NY and DC. We made some great stops in the middle at the Knitting Factory, then down to Atlantic City’s House of Blues where we met a lot of new people and got a great response from the crowd. Shout out to the folks at 102.7 ACE Radio and 103.1 The Shark for having Wes and I in the studio to play! I also did an impromtu gig at Clifton's in Freehold - thanks to everyone who showed - it was a blast.
Next I headed down to DC where I was lucky enough to play for the folks at XM Radio and toured their new studios. The walls are lined with these amazing blown up photos of all the rock legends and I would have bought the Marley one straight off the wall if they’d let me! Also hit up one of the most amazing guitar shops, called THE Guitar Shop in downtown DC. This guy has over 2000 guitars hidden away in this old place where every artist you can ever think of has been through. Sat out in the hallway and played on some of the most beautiful guitars ever. Anything you could think of, he had.
Glad to be back home, though, after a long drive back. I’m looking forward to all the upcoming shows, and working on new songs, so check back on the website for new updated dates. We’re all really excited about how well things are coming together. Thanks once again to everyone who’s been helping us out.
Peace and Love,
Jody
